What You'll Need to Get Started
Requirements vary by program, but here's what most healthcare students can expect:
Before you register, some programs ask for a high school diploma or equivalency, and a few require a basic skills assessment (like the NCRC) or proof of a college-level math and English course.
Before your first day of class, clinical programs typically involve a background check, a drug screen, and a few standard immunizations (flu, TDAP, and others), all handled through our third-party vendor so the process stays simple. Some programs also require CPR training, a uniform, or a valid photo ID.
Not every program requires all of this. Programs like EKG Tech and Pharmacy Technician have fewer requirements, while clinical programs like Nurse Aide and Phlebotomy involve more since they include hands-on patient care.
